About Us
MLHW is a Non-profit organization ran by volunteers dedicated to introducing wrestling at the youth level in a fun and friendly environment. Our club supports Pre-k. thru 6th grade youth residing in the towns of Eliot, South Berwick and Rollingsford NH.
Mission
The Marshwood Little Hawks Wrestling Team exists to cultivate a love for competition and personal development through the sport of wrestling. The team’s coaches and volunteers will nurture an environment that encourages integrity, respect, sportsmanship, and self-discipline. We will strive to keep the room fun and interesting for all its members, while motivating and supporting each to reach the individual’s fullest potential. While wrestling may be an individual sport, we will encourage the athletes to develop lasting friendships and loyalty to their team. MLHW is the feeder program to Marshwood High School and will therefore teach fundamentals and principles consistent with the goals of the high school team. We will foster a feeling of achievement in our athletes for each little accomplishment they make, while maintaining focus on the long term goal of developing them for high school competition and beyond.
